About This Blend:  I have reproduced the traditional, century's old recipe for Savon D' Marseilles soap.  This is also known as French ‘Ugly Soap’, because it is sometimes colored green with wheat grass, sold in many fragrances.  It's often cut into big, square blocks and used for bathing, laundry, dishes, washing the dog, quilts and babies. Unscented for sensitive skin. This blend is also natural, vegan and made with Certified Sustainable ingredients. Just slice off a hunk and store it in a cool dry place!  Makes a wonderful gift!  72% Olive Oil/28% Coconut Oil - Natural humectant and moisturizing properties, makes skin softer and more supple.  Antioxidants may help prevent premature signs of aging on the skin. Vitamins A, D, E, and K. Helps to reduce inflammation and helps to heal wounds.

Fragrance: Unscented

Savon ‘d Marseille Blend Ingredients:  Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Distilled Water, and Lye.

*Tip: It's traditional in France to use this soap for doing laundry, dishes, washing the dog, just about anyting.  Here's what I do.  Shave the soap down with a box grater and melt/stir over low heat with plenty filtered water to create cheap laundry soap.  Set aside your dishwasher soap jugs and store Liquid Laundry Soap in them. Any similar jug will work, but dishwsher soap jugs are easy to handle and pour.

I use only pure, unadulterated oils and butters to make my soaps.  I only purchase from suppliers who test & uphold strict standards for purity.

I'm able to purchase almost 100% non-GMO and Organic materials.  The prices are getting better as folks vote with their dollars and sense.

Whenever possible, I purchase products with the Rainforest Alliance Certified™ seal, because they are grown and harvested on farms and forests that follow sustainable practices.

I calculate the recipes, weigh, stir, pour and cut every batch of soap personally and I won't sell anything I'm not 100% happy with.

I purchase Fair Trade materials whenever possible, such as Shea Butter.  The price is higher, but the quality is also better.

I buy palm oil that is RSPO Certified, because they promise no deforestation, no peat development, and no exploitation (NDPE). See Ingredients.
